Trippy light blobs projected on to the National Herbarium of Victoria at Lightscape 2025. The Herbarium holds over 1.5 million preserved samples of plant, fungi, and algae.
The samples include collections from the 1770 voyage of the HMS Endeavour by Joseph Banks, the Matthew Flinders’ circumnavigation of Australia (1801-5), and three of Darwin’s collections made on the voyage of the Beagle.
