One of the spots of interest on the Jack the Ripper tour. The Ten Bells has a connections with victims Annie Chapman and Mary Jane Kelly.
A rainy night and a busy schedule meant that we only grabbed a few photos. But the tour does come highly recommended for anyone with even a passing interest in the gruesome events of 1888.
A Nutcracker Man stand guard by Melbourne’s Sandridge Bridge.
The Southbank Pedestrian Bridge (Evan Walker Bridge) all decorated for Christmas.
The view up Nicholson Str from Spring Str and the Victorian Parliament, past the Royal Exhibition Building in middle. Not the sharpest or best exposed of photos but I love the unusual vantage point and the slightly surreal effect. We sat there watching planes come into land at Melbourne Airport along the horizon. What a way to end a day that started with a wedding in a hot air balloon.
