The view up Nicholson Str from Spring Str and the Victorian Parliament, past the Royal Exhibition Building in middle. Not the sharpest or best exposed of photos but I love the unusual vantage point and the slightly surreal effect. We sat there watching planes come into land at Melbourne Airport along the horizon. What a way to end a day that started with a wedding in a hot air balloon.

This originally appeared inon BrizBunny as Brisbane One Day Auckland The Next. A jump across the Tasman, and an upgrade in camera, a Pentax Optio S45. Three times more megapixels and way better power management over the HP 645’s power hungry AA battery habit.
A much smaller version of this appeared on BrizBunny as Brisbane by Night.

Captain Cook Bridge from the Kangaroo Point Lookout. It looks like I only managed to escape work under cover of darkness. This first appeared on BrizBunny in Brisbane by Night.
This photo first appeared on BrizBunny in a much smaller form pretty close to the date taken as BrizVegas. This was the second post on that blog. The web was a different place back then, it was dial-up land and 17″ CRT screens were big. I’m pretty sure that my shared hosting capped out at 5Mb of storage – about a months worth of photos here now.
