The third, and final, of the Momento Mori pieces by Ox King, Steven Nuttall at the Melbourne Hellenic Museum. This is Atropos, the inevitable. Atropos is the cutter of the thread of life. She chose the nature of the person’s death and cut the thread when their time had come with her shears.
I wonder how many people take the time to notice this wonderful triptych, and how many investigate their meaning.
