Blarney Castle Keep

The north wall of Blarney Castle showing the rock it was built on, and of. The base was used as the quarry for the stone used in its construction. The seam down the middle shows the two phases of construction, with the right hand side being the original tall thin tower. The bay window is in the earl’s bedchamber.
