The Victorian Arts Centre is graced with a spindly tube spire which reaches up 162m [^]. This makes it a useful navigation aide, especially at night when it is all lit-up.

It’s seen here from across the Yarra River on a bright spring day, looking much more inviting than the wintery hot air balloon photo from December 2007.
