Looking up the Yarra from the Sandridge Bridge towards the Southbank Pedestrian Bridge and Princes Bridge beyond with Flinders Street Station making a cameo appearance.
A Nutcracker Man stand guard by Melbourne’s Sandridge Bridge.
The Southbank Pedestrian Bridge (Evan Walker Bridge) all decorated for Christmas.
Gillie and Marc’s “He knew this would be a year of good fortune“. This bronze sculpture commemorates the Chinese New Year for the Year of the Dog, and was an unexpected find in St Collins Lane.
Another lovely lunchtime surprise, a pair of yellow-tailed black-cockatoos beside one of the Rowville lakes. One of them was on a branch over the footpath and took off as I walked underneath – scaring the living daylights out of me. These are seriously big birds, especially when they are at head height!
A relaxation of the workplace density requirements for Lockdown 6.0 saw me return to work. A highlight was this smiley face across the road from work on my lunchtime walk in Rowville.
Zoe ready for Book Week at school, dressed-up as Olivia from Olivia’s Secret Diaries. Conveniently, with Melbourne recently coming out of Lockdown 6.0, Olivia seems to have a wardrobe very similar to Zoe.
