Another burst of sunny spring weather brought the opportunity to escape into the fresh air during Lockdown 6.0. Strangely enough given free reign we ended up passing a playground.
After an afternoon exploring, and dodging showers, I got home to see this wonderful rainbow.
With the recent increase in allowed exercise time, I took the opportunity to explore a little further. I wanted to push along the Melbourne Water pipe track a little further towards Mt Evelyn. This is the view from above Pine Road looking back down on the Zina Grove Reserve and back towards home.
Another one from our small bulb patch in the front garden. The harlequin flowers share a bed with the lily.
Coco finds that supervising is hard work. Unattended gloves and cardboard boxes were quickly rounded-up by Coco and partner in crime Connor. Once obtained the items were taken off to what i can only describe as the Corgi “processing” facility. No gloves were destroyed thanks to some fast moves by me.
Connor is seen here in the Corgi processing facility for misplaced items. Gloves and cardboard boxes were a favourite to be “disappeared”. Some quick action was required to avert disaster – one box was trashed, but the gloves were saved.
