Tim Burton Balloon Boy
The 2010 Tim Burton Exhibition at ACMI. Balloon Boy is a 22 foot high installation commissioned by Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York for the opening of the Tim Burton world tour. Tim Burton was called on to create an origin story for Balloon Boy (B.). B. was created, Frankenstein’s monster-style, from the leftover balloons used in children’s parties at the Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, where he lives.
