Yes, I know zebras are black and white! This shot was taken through the plants surrounding the enclosure and the green blur just wasn’t working. An accidental flip to black and white and everything just clicked into place.
This is the “horse” that we picked for the Melbourne Cup last year – I think that it is still racing!
We decided to avoid the Race mayhem and head to the Zoo instead. And we found that the Zoo was quite quiet, possibly the best public holiday other than Christmas Day to visit. We got into the City early and we were home in time to see the race on the television
