The Victoria Tower stands at the end of the House of Lords. As well as holding the Parliamentary records it also houses the Sovereign’s Entrance.
Victoria Tower stands at the other end of the Houses of Parliament to the Elizabeth Tower (Big Ben) at the end of the House of Lords and opposite the Jewel Tower.
The Jewel Tower is one of the last remaining sections of the original Palace of Westminster, the rest being destroyed in the fire of 1834. It was built to house the treasure of King Edward III.
