A lovely lemony coloured grevillea caught in the last of the sunshine in Croydon on a dogwalk last night. A bee is busy collecting nectar deep in the flower.
A slightly singed rose in the back garden back in 2008. They may not be the prettiest roses, but the smell is amazing.
A hippeastrum, sometimes called an amaryllis, in the back garden at home.
This red flowering gum (Corymbia ficifolia) was full of flowers and very happy bees. It is a part of Tooradin’s Avenue of Honour. which is unusual in using native trees rather than exotics.
I spotted this feral passion fruit vine on a lunchtime walk. By the look of it there is going to be a good crop.
Almost a month has past since the last wattle photos, and blue skies had appeared if only briefly..
A double daffodil from the garden at home. This is possibly a tahiti daffodil or narcissus.
Looking down to the creek on the farm, looking over the bracken and wattle trees.
