Or the Slater-eating spider. Amazingly the humble woodlouse has something like 50 common names listed in the Wikipedia page. For once something that isn’t out to kill you in Australia, mind you it is an inadvertent import from Europe.
I had a bit of a surprise when I went to let the dogs in the other night. A baby huntsman on the doo, the big question was, which side? Well he was on the outside in the space between the door and the open fly-screen. So we got a well lit photo of the underneath of a spider.
